The Hornby-Skewes was the boost pedal that Blackmore used throughout the late '60s and early '70s, which gave his tone that signature treble-rich sonic edge that helped define his style. The Skewer from Catalinbread features a true-to-original circuit with a silicon transistor that ups the bite in your tone, putting your leads front and center in any mix.
