Epiphone's Casino will forever be famous as the guitar frequently wielded by the Beatles through a variety of their songs. This limited-edition Casino is a left-handed model. There was something magical about the combination of the P-90 pickups and the tube amps of the day that resulted in tone that made Beatle songs instantly recognizable. The Casino's maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and dual P-90 pickups deliver great playability and killer vintage tone. The Beatles are one of - if not the - most important and influential bands of all time, and the Casino gives you that Beatle sound.

A guitar that helped shape music history

Remember that Paul McCartney started out with the Beatles as a guitarist, and indeed played quite a few of the guitar parts during the band's illustrious recording career. Paul got his Epiphone Casino in 1962, and immediately altered it for left-hand playing. His hands-down favorite guitar, can be heard on countless Beatles records, as well as much of Paul's post-Beatles recordings.

Classic tonewoods delivers great tone

With its maple back, top, and sides, the limited-edition, left-handed Epiphone Casino is primed for any style of music. From blues to jazz to rock and beyond, the maple body offers tones that are bright and snappy, but not harsh. Pair that with the set mahogany neck - which brings a touch of thickness and warmth to the tone - and you've got a well-balance instrument for any genre. A rosewood fingerboard also adds to the overall tonality of this instrument.

Vintage tone from a pair of P-90s

A pair of single-coil P-90 pickups are the engine that drives the power of the Casino. P-90 pickups are unique, as they sparkle and shimmer when you pick gently, but they can get mean when you really lean into them. Take it from us, the Casino puts a myriad of tones at your disposal, including the jangle that was so prevalent across many of the '60s classic tunes.
